Jenny has worked extensively in
the pediatric field for over 17
years including posts within the
Mecklenburg County school system
(Charlotte, NC) and with pediatric
Home Health before founding Dynamic
Therapy in 1995. She received
her Bachelor of Science in Physical
Therapy from The University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill
and has training in NDT handling,
therapeutic taping, infant message,
and orthotic fabrication. She’s
no stranger to multiple diagnosis
and enjoys working with children
of all ages! |

| Suzanne
has been with Dynamic Therapy
since its origin in 1995 as a
physical therapy specialist. She
has extensive pediatric experience
in early intervention and home/center
based therapies. Suzanne has also
completed a two year training
in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
She has an undergraduate degree
from NCSU, a certificate in Physical
Therapy from Emory University,
and a Masters Degree in Social
Work from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. |

| Eliza
has been working with Dynamic
Therapy for Kids since 1999. She
has experience in school system
therapy, outpatient rehab, home-based
therapy, early intervention, developmental
day and preschool settings. She
has worked with a variety of diagnoses
and has extensive training with
Cerebral Palsy, Spina-Bifida and
numerous other diagnoses. She
also has a vast knowledge of adaptive
equipment and has great imagination
in this area! Eliza graduated
from the Medical College of Virginia
in 1980. She enjoys the multiple-disciplinary
team approach and works well with
patient’s families and caregivers. |

| Leslie received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987 and has applied herself in pediatric inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, home health, developmental preschools and in public school systems. She has been with Dynamic Therapy since 2005, with a primary focus on early intervention. Leslie has extensive experience in adaptive equipment assessment. She has worked with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic and neurological impairments, genetic disorders, developmental delays, medically fragile children, and muscular diseases. Leslie is certified in NDT treatment and has completed the NDT training course for babies. She is adept at working with all age groups, and loves working with children and their families and caregivers. |

| Throughout her 11 years as a physical therapist, Lesley has worked with a pediatric population in both home-based and outpatient settings. She has worked with children of all ages with a concentration on 0 - 5 year olds. She has had additional training in orthopedic interventions for pediatric patients and spinal cord injury. Lesley has experienced treating children with developmental delay, neurological and orthopedic impairment, cerebral palsy, muscular disease, spinal cord injury, and vent dependent children. She graduated with her masters in physical therapy from the University of Michigan in 1996. |

| Lisa has had over 20 years of experience in pediatrics. She received her undergraduate degree from the Boston School of Occupational Therapy at Tufts University in Boston and her masters degree from the University of Southern California, where she received her sensory integration training at the Ayres clinic. She is certified in pediatric NDT and the Interactive Metronome, and trained in the Beckman Oral-Motor Assessment and Treatment, Handwriting Without Tears Program, the Wilbarger Deep Pressure Protocol, and Therapeutic Listening Program. Lisa has worked extensively with the 0-5 year old population in the home, outpatient and inpatient hospital setting, and in private clinics. She enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses including sensory processing disorders, autism, feeding disorders, CP, Down Syndrome, developmental delay, and prematurity. She loves working closely with families, teaching and empowering them to bring out the best in their child. |

Deb has undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology from Gettysburg College , PA and received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from UNC – Chapel Hill in 1989. She has worked in pediatrics in Wake County for 12 years, specializing in providing early intervention services to children birth to five in inclusive daycare and preschool settings, as well as in homes. Deb has experience providing OT services to children with neurological impairment, genetic disorders, learning disabilities, autism, feeding difficulties, sensory integration dysfunction/sensory processing difficulties, and children at risk for developmental delays. She is both SIPT and Pediatric NDT certified. Deb is also specialized in feeding/oral motor skills, fine motor skills, adaptive equipment, assistive technology, positioning and splinting. Deb loves working in collaboration with parents, teachers and other therapists in order to positively impact a child’s development. |

Amanda received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Charleston and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Amanda has experience in the outpatient and inpatient pediatric settings with children ages 0-18. She enjoys working with children with developmental delays, autism, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, ADHD, handwriting difficulties, and feeding disorders. Amanda has additional training in Handwriting Without Tears, Therapeutic Listening, and feeding therapy with a medical approach. She has a special interest in hippotherapy and spent many years volunteering with the Therapeutic Riding Center in Charleston, SC and Boulder, CO. |

Melanie has been working with the pediatric special needs population since graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has experience working with children from birth through adolescence in a variety of settings including schools, daycares, homes, and outpatient clinic settings. Melanie is certified in the Interactive Metronome and Therapeutic Listening programs and protocols. She has also had training in Infant Massage, Sensory Integration, Wilbarger Deep Pressure and Proprioceptive Technique, and Verbal Behavior Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. She has had experience working with children with a variety of feeding difficulties using medical, motor, behavioral, and sensory based approaches. Melanie specializes in working with children with handwriting delays through the use of the Handwriting Without Tears Program and the First Strokes Multisensory Approach to Handwriting. She enjoys working with all children with special needs, but has a special interest in working with children with developmental delays, fine and gross motor delays, feeding difficulties, handwriting difficulties, Down’s Syndrome, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. |

Trish graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1989. Trish has worked in a variety of settings including clinics, Early Intervention programs, public schools, home and community based settings, daycare/preschools and the Developmental Evaluation Center . Certifications include Therapeutic Listening, Handwriting Without Tears Program and HWT Evaluation,and Astronaut Training: A Sound Activated Vestibular-Visual Protocol. Trish has had training in NDT for infants by Bobath, Habilitation from the Core and Oral Motor/Feeding Protocols. Additional trainings and experience include Sensory Integration and Wilbarger's brushing program, splinting, adaptive equipment and positioning with 19+ years in pediatrics. Trish enjoys working with all ages and their families and believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. |

After receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003, Julie moved to North Carolina where she worked with young children with fragile X syndrome and their families for three years. She graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2008. Julie has experience working with children with sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, fine and gross motor delays, autism, asperger syndrome, down syndrome, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Julie loves working with all children, but she has a special interest working with children with sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, and fragile X syndrome. Julie enjoys working collaboratively with children and their families to reach their maximum potential. |

She has extensive experience working
with children from ages birth

with receptive and expressive
language disorders, articulation
and phonological processing difficulties,
childhood apraxia of speech, autism
spectrum disorders, and language
processing disorders. Laura has
special expertise working with
children with oral motor dysfunction
as well as feeding and swallowing
disorders. She has received training
in the Beckman Oral-Motor assessment
and treatment techniques. She
is also a PROMPT-trained therapist.
In 2003, Laura became a certified
administrator of the NOMAS (Neonatal
Oral Motor Assessment Scale).
Laura enjoys working closely with
children and their families in
helping them to meet and exceed
their therapy goals. |

| Laurie has been working with Dynamic Therapy since August 2006. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and linguistics, with emphasis in speech and hearing sciences, from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2001. She earned her Masters of Science degree in speech-language pathology from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003. Laurie has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and oral sensory-motor deficits. Other areas of expertise include evaluation and treatment of early childhood language disorders, articulation and phonological processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech. Laurie enjoys working closely with caregivers and specialists to ensure each child has every opportunity to meet his/her goals. |

Laura has been working with Dynamic Therapy since October 2009. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University and taught first and second grade in Houston, Texas. In 1997 she graduated from UNC-CH with her Masters of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. Laura excels at working with children of all ages with a variety of disabilities. Her primary area of expertise is working with children birth through early elementary school age with receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological processing difficulties, autism spectrum disorders and childhood apraxia of speech. Laura especially enjoys working with children and families needing early intervention services. It is always her goal to help all children reach and exceed their goals so that they may experience the gift of communication. |

Carrie received her undergraduate degree in psychology from UNC-Wilmington and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from East Carolina University. She has experience in a variety of settings including; developmental preschools/daycares, homes, elementary schools, and hospitals. She also has experience working with children from ages 2-12. Carrie has extensive experience in addressing communication with children who are globally delayed and/or medically involved. She is passionate about providing alternative modes of communication to children who are severely delayed or nonverbal sign language, picture exchange, and assistive technology. Carrie also has experience in the evaluation and treatment of articulation disorders, phonological processing disorders, expressive and receptive language disorders, communication disorders secondary to hearing impairment, and childhood apraxia of speech. Carrie enjoys working with families to help children generalize communication skills to their home and school environments. |

| Darlene joined Dynamic Therapy in 2009. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education/Preschool Handicapped from East Carolina University , and a NC Teaching License. She has experience working with learning disabled students in both private and public schools, and is a Barton Reading Tutor. She was employed as classroom teacher/service coordinator in a developmental day school program in Wake County , serving children aged zero to six years old, with a wide range of diagnoses. She has training in sign language for babies and toddlers, and preschool play therapy. Darlene loves working with young children and their whole family in an effort to help them achieve their highest potential. |

has been the Office Manager for Dynamic
Therapy since March 1, 2004. For the
past 10 years, she has worked as an
Office / Business Manager. She handles
all of the administrative tasks for
the office such as scheduling, benefit
verification and billing. |
